Himalayan Buzz is the leading lifestyle, fashion, and entertainment magazine in the Uttarakhand region, known for hosting prestigious pageants and industry awards.
The Challenge :
We relied on clean and sleek typography as the great unifier. By establishing strict baseline grids and modern sans-serif headers, we created an architectural layout that could house both corporate keynote summaries and full-bleed fashion spreads in perfect harmony.
The Solution :
Content density. This edition had to cover two drastically different events: The formal/corporate Education Awards Summit and the highly visual, youthful Mr. and Ms. Uttarakhand Contestant Auditions. Fusing dense business reporting with vibrant fashion photography requires a grid system that can handle both without breaking.
Education Awards Summit Highlights
We structured the summit reporting with modular "takeaway" boxes, crisp executive headshots, and bold data points, making the long-form business articles effortless to scan and read.
Pageant Audition Galleries
For the Mr. and Ms. Uttarakhand sections, we broke the strict corporate grid, switching to dynamic, energetic photo mosaics that highlighted contestant personalities while staying anchored by the overarching typographic rules.
Clean & Sleek Typography
We stripped away decorative elements to focus entirely on letterform architecture. The result is a publication that feels modern, fast-paced, and highly professional.
