Grihya Estate is a real estate venture by Subham Haldar, focused on the Andaman & Nicobar Islands — one of India's most exclusive and under-digitized property markets. The platform offers verified land, residential, and commercial properties with end-to-end support including legal documentation, financing assistance, and expert advisory services. Operating in a region where most transactions still happen offline through local brokers, Grihya aims to bring transparency and digital accessibility to island property buying.

The Challenge :

We designed and built a multi-page real estate platform in Figma and deployed it via Framer, creating a light-mode, aspirational design language with a teal (#00BCD4) accent system and full-bleed property photography. The homepage uses domain segmentation — splitting properties into Open Land, Housing, Commercial, and Rental categories — so buyers can self-route to their exact intent within seconds. We designed a custom CMS-driven property detail page that handles floor plans, photo galleries, amenity checklists, pricing metadata, and availability dates — all manageable by the client without developer support. To elevate the platform beyond a generic listing site, we created a custom illustration system (Dream Home, Smart Investment, Luxury Living, Advisory) that gives Grihya a distinctive brand personality.

The Solution :

The Andaman real estate market has virtually no organized digital presence — buyers from mainland India rely on word-of-mouth, outdated broker listings, and WhatsApp forwards to find properties. Shubham needed a platform that could do three things simultaneously: establish trust with verified listings and legal documentation support, organize a complex inventory spanning open land, residential homes, commercial spaces, and rental properties into a clean browsing experience, and project a luxury aesthetic that matches the aspirational nature of island living — without looking like a generic property portal.

Domain-Segmented Homepage — One Site, Four Markets


Instead of dumping every listing into a single feed, we architected the homepage to split into four distinct property domains: Open Land, Housing, Commercial, and Rental. Each domain has its own hero section, verified listing cards, and trust signals (Verified Titles, Expert Advisory, Legal Support, Financing). A buyer looking for open land in Port Blair never sees rental apartments in their flow — reducing decision fatigue and increasing inquiry conversion.

Custom Illustration System — Brand Beyond Stock Photography


To differentiate Grihya from cookie-cutter real estate portals that all use the same Shutterstock photos, we designed a bespoke illustration set: Dream Home (suburban house with trees), Smart Investment (woman in urban skyline), Luxury Living (city with location pin), and Advisory (person with dashboard). These illustrations create a warm, approachable brand identity that balances the premium property photography with human-scale storytelling.

CMS-Powered Property Detail Pages — The Listing That Sells Itself


Every property listing is a structured CMS page containing: hero property photo, floor plan diagram, multi-image gallery (interior + exterior), a specs table (area, floors, bedrooms, bathrooms, parking), pricing and negotiability metadata, availability dates, ownership type (Freehold/Leasehold), and a full amenity checklist (Gym, Pool, CCTV, Open Air, Elevator, Balcony, and more). The client can add new listings without touching code — just fill in the CMS fields and publish.

Grihya Estate now has a professional digital platform that positions Andaman real estate as a premium, trustworthy market — replacing the fragmented broker ecosystem with a structured, self-service browsing experience. The CMS architecture means Shubham can scale from 10 to 1,000 listings without needing a developer for each addition.
