About
GaiaSpace
GaiaSpace is an Indian space technology startup founded by Subham Haldar and Dr. Sachin Srivastava, officially registered under the Government of India. The company develops sustainable in-space propulsion systems — including ion thrusters (GIT-RF 200) and hybrid rocket engines (HY-RoCEn) — alongside Air Traffic Surveillance intelligence. Haldar, a space propulsion engineer pursuing his Masters at Università di Pisa (Italy), previously served as Technical Lead at ERETS SPACE (UK), where his team presented debris-mitigation technology at Web Summit Lisbon and the UK Space Agency's Space Supplier Summit.
The Challenge :
We designed and built a 9-page dark-mode website in Figma and deployed it via Framer — eliminating traditional development cycles while maintaining full responsive control. The design language uses deep space black (#000) with galactic blue (#00A3FF) accents and purple CTAs (#8B5CF6), anchored by a 3D rotating earth hero that immediately signals the company's orbital ambitions. Each product page features high-fidelity 3D renders of actual hardware, turning dense engineering specifications into visual narratives that non-technical stakeholders can grasp in seconds.
The Solution :
GaiaSpace had cutting-edge propulsion technology and active R&D programs, but zero digital presence. Their complex product portfolio — spanning ion thrusters, hybrid rockets, satellite programs, and ATS intelligence — needed to be translated into a website that felt credible to aerospace investors, accessible to potential recruits, and professional enough to represent an officially registered space company. The site had to work for three distinct audiences within 2 clicks: investors evaluating technology, engineers exploring career opportunities, and partners assessing collaboration potential.
The Aviation Timeline — A Visual Origin Story
An animated horizontal timeline spanning 1938 to the present day, mapping humanity's key aerospace milestones directly into GaiaSpace's founding narrative. This isn't a decorative element — it contextualizes the company's mission against 85+ years of flight history, immediately positioning GaiaSpace as part of a larger legacy for first-time visitors.

3D Product Showcase — Engineering Sells Itself
Dedicated product pages for the GIT-RF 200 (Gridded Ion Thruster) and HY-RoCEn (Hybrid Rocket Engine) feature high-fidelity 3D renders alongside detailed specifications. Instead of burying technical data in PDFs, we made the hardware the visual hero — allowing investors and partners to evaluate propulsion technology at a glance, without needing a physics degree.
Multi-Audience Navigation — 3 Paths, 2 Clicks
We architected the information hierarchy so that three distinct user types — investors, engineering recruits, and strategic partners — can reach their target content within two clicks. The Engineering dropdown expands into product-specific pages, the Careers section links directly to the training program pipeline, and the Contact page features dual office locations (Andaman & Nicobar HQ + Uttaranchal University R&D Lab).

GaiaSpace now has a production-ready digital identity that matches the sophistication of its engineering. The site serves as the company's primary pitch tool for investor meetings, recruitment drives, and partnership conversations — replacing slide decks and PDFs with a living, self-manageable web platform.
